The Grand Bazaar is located in the Beyazit district and dates back to the 10th century BC.
It is one of the oldest traditional markets in Istanbul and has long been a major tourist attraction, serving as a central trading hub. It was built after the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople. Consequently, its construction dates back to 1461 AD, commissioned by Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror.
